How to delete your Brick account or request your data (GDPR)

How to delete your Brick account or request a copy of your personal data under GDPR.

You have the right to delete your Brick account and to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Here's how.

How to delete your account

To delete your Brick account, please contact support. We handle deletions manually so we can verify your identity and make sure any active rentals are properly closed first.

  • Message us through the chat in the Brick app, or

  • Email support@brick.tech from the email address linked to your Brick account

In your request, please include:

  • A short note saying you'd like your account deleted

  • The email or phone number used to register

We typically process account deletion requests within a few business days.

What gets deleted

When we delete your account, we remove:

  • Your profile (name, email, phone)

  • Your stored payment methods

  • Your rental history (anonymized where required for accounting and tax records)

Some data is retained where the law requires (for example, financial records for accounting and tax purposes). This retained data is kept in a restricted form and not used for any other purpose.

Requesting a copy of your data (GDPR)

If you'd like a copy of the personal data we hold about you, email support@brick.tech from the email linked to your account and ask for a data export. We'll respond within the timeframe required by GDPR (typically within 30 days).

Before you delete

Make sure you have no active rentals before requesting deletion. If you've recently rented a powerbank, please return it first.
