All slots at the station are full: how to return your powerbank

What to do when the station you wanted to return to has no empty slots, including how to find an alternative and what protects you from the late fee.

If the station you're trying to return to has no empty slots, don't worry, you have options and you won't be unfairly charged.

1. Find another nearby station

You can return a Brick powerbank to any Brick station, not only the one you rented from. Open the Brick app and look at the map. Stations with empty slots are highlighted, so you can pick one that can take your powerbank.

If you don't have the Brick app, download it from the App Store or Google Play first.

2. If no nearby stations have free slots

You have a 2-day return window. The rental keeps running and charging until you return the powerbank, but you won't lose the powerbank or be charged the unreturned fee within those 2 days. Hold onto it and return it as soon as you can to any station with free slots.

3. At a busy event or festival

During big events, all stations near the venue may fill up at the same time. If you're at an event and can't find an open slot:

  • Try stations a few blocks outside the event area, they often have space

  • Some events have dedicated Brick teams on site; ask staff at the venue

  • If you genuinely can't find anywhere to return it within a reasonable time, contact support, we can adjust the rental fee

Contact support if needed

If you've been unable to return your powerbank because every station near you was full, message us through the chat in the Brick app or email support@brick.tech with the date, time, and the stations you tried. We'll review and adjust your charge.
