Overview of Power Bank Rental Policies
Updated Return Window: Brick has updated the return window for power bank rentals from 5 days to 2 days to comply with local laws and regulations. Charges are based on the 2-day window disclosed at the start of the rental. Additional rental charges may apply if the power bank is returned after 2 days.
Refund and Charge Policies
Reversing Charges for Late Returns: If you return a power bank after it has been marked as unreturned, most of the replacement fee can be reversed. Inform Brick support after returning the power bank to process the adjustment.
Adjusting Charges for Late Returns: If you return the power bank after 2 days, you can request an adjustment so that the non-return fee is partially refunded. You will only pay for the actual rental time.
Quick Returns: All charges are canceled if the power bank is returned within 5 minutes of the rental start time.
Troubleshooting Returns
Returning to Powered Stations: Returns are only registered when the station is powered on and connected to the internet. If you return a power bank to a station that is turned off, the system will not record the return, and charges may continue. Ensure the station is powered and online before inserting the power bank to complete the return.
Returning Without Scanning or Using the App: Returning a Brick power bank ends the rental automatically as long as you insert it back into the slot in the correct orientation—with the sensor side facing the machine. No additional scanning or app action is required.
